DIXONS ESTATE AGENTS - BIRMINGHAM, WE

What can I say... excellent customer service from the start. I was kept updated about viewings and given feedback. Sound advice was given about my property.... Mortgage advice was spot on and Zahida made the process easy for me. The branch manager Andy was great too with his reassurances. Would I recommend YES ABSOLUTELY!!!

I am writing this review on behalf of a friend as what I have heard and witnessed of this particular branch of dixons estate agents mosley has disgusted me. Over three weeks ago my friend applied for a property after veiwing it, paid the agency fees which were over £300 (by far the most expensive ive ever heard of) and they said his credit check would be compleated in 48 hours, he assumed everything had gone through fine until a week later when he went to take in the rent and deposit and was told that there had been a fixable problem on the credit check and no one had contacted him..they then told him he should be able to move into the property the following week which never happened due to the agent not contacting the landlord .myfriend called the agent that is supposedly dealing with his application and explained to him that he was now at risk of becoming homeless and needs the keys by the end of the week or his money back so he can find another property or he may have to take legal action to which the agent threatend him with the fact that he could drop his application and take his fees... I find this behavior to be disgusting and unprofessional and I felt something had to be said otherwise agents like these will continue to ruin well trusted companys names with poor conduct. My friend has since been made homeless and is still awaiting contact from dixons. Very poor indeed!
