ADV LTD - DORKING, SU

We called in ADV for one of our three quotes for a substantial residential renovation and double storey extension in Dorking. We did so knowing that ADV was part of the FMB and therefore expected a professional approach. A month has just gone by whilst we waited for the written quotation which was promised with fourteen days, this was following a two hour meeting and having submitted all our architectural plans to ADV. Today we have just received a letter, not so much as a phone call to let me/us know that they were now too busy given that [quote] ''we have received approximately 10-months of instructed works during the last week'' [unquote] This is not at all professional and lacks basic manners and consideration for clients. Tony White of ADV took up two hours of our time at the property and subsequently took a further four weeks to bother to tell us he had a better offer. Not professional at all and I cannot recommend based on my/our experience. Thanks to ADV this has set back our progress with the build. Talks the talk but doesn't do the walk!
