HANDS ON POTTERY - NOTTINGHAM, NO

My sister and I attended an afternoon course here as a birthday gift in late 2015. We were really excited when we arrived but sadly our female pottery teacher appeared less than enthusiastic. There was no introduction or even any form of basic instruction at the start of the class. We enjoyed using the potters wheel and engaging with the other students. However, our experience, like others was made less educational & enjoyable due to the instructors apparent lack of patience. Overall we left feeling like the instructor didn't want to be there or no longer enjoyed her job. Quite disappointing.

Good place to go

My daughter booked me a throwing workshop as a birthday present. It was a very enjoyable and informative afternoon, small group so we all had plenty of time with the pottery tutor who was very friendly and supportive ¿¿. At the end of the session not only had I enjoyed a lovely afternoon I actually had some pieces to show for it. I can't wait to go back to colour and glaze my finished pieces. I would definately recommend to others. Karen Yorke
