ABBEY FENCING - LEICESTER, LE

The "H" shaped slotted concrete posts are not matched in quality. Most of them have lost the "H" shape, which means one side of the fence panel is loose & rattles. Affordable price but this is reflected in the quality.

Rubbish firm. Do Not Use - unless you enjoy dealing with time-wasters!! I obtained a quote from this bodge firm and agreed a date to get the fencing replaced. Instead of turning up to work I got a call to say they were delayed and could they come another day. Foolishly I agreed but instead of turning up to do the work - as per previous reviews (wished I'd seen those first!) 2 men arrived in a small white van - said they needed to see what work was needed so they could go off and get the relevant gear. Never saw them again and the gormless man "in charge" had no idea where they were and now doesn't even have the courtesy to answer calls. CRAP COMPANY ! Don't get conned by these time-wasters!

Shocking: Don't leave home when they turn up. I had booked Abbey Fencing (Leicester) two weeks in advance for works to be completed on 13 May. On the day, at around 8:40am, two men turned up in a white van. I had showed them the works in my garden that were agreed when the company quoted me (see below) and said I'm just going to drop my kids off to school and will be back very shortly.  I quickly packed my kids in to the car and took them to school. I came back no later than 15 minutes and found the two men and their van were GONE; they left while I was gone from home. I rang the office and spoke to Paul, the Owner of the "company", who said he'd get back to me. I rang him a second time a few hours later and he said he could not get a hold of the guys?! I then rang again a few hours later, again to no answer and haven't heard anything since. I rang no less than ten times according to my call log on my phone to get my fence fixed, to no call back. I booked a day off from work for this installation. It's shocking service: how can the two men and their white van just leave while I've popped to drop my kids to school?! With no warning at that. The company then didn't even have the common decency to get back to me or offer an explanation as to where they'd gone or offer another date. Where is their customer service standards? Where is the reliability? Where is the respect for their customers? - nowhere to be seen. Horrible service. Will never use again and nor will any of my friends/family. 0/5 stars given.
