For some reason Boots Opticians at Horwich
(Bolton) won't answer the phone.
I am waiting to pick up my glasses and want
to arrange collection.
After 9 attempts over 2 days to phone them, I
finally got to speak with a Boots employee.
I explained that this was my 9th attempt to
speak with someone but no-one would answer
the phone. I was told that this was because
they were busy and whilst she was a bit
shirty at least she attempted to put me
though to the optician’s team.
Unfortunately, no-one answered and I was left
hanging. I gave up.
Boots used to be very good but clearly have
staffing problems and / or poor systems in
place and have forgotten how to look after
customers.
My whole family have used Boots opticians for
over a decade but clearly it’s time to go
somewhere else when they can’t even offer a
minimum level of customer service.
yes! I was 71 when I had had a bad fall and
head injury (hospitalised)...
I went somewhere else for an immediate test
after I was told my EYE TEST WAS NOT
DUE...and I would be PROSECUTED if I booked a
free test!!!!!! RIDICULOUS....
