They stole my money!
They disinform client
I visited this centre wondering if they can order the contact lenses for me. I didn’t have the prescription , and lady at the reception (I think it was Joy) said that I have to have the optometrist assessment first.
I agreed, asked for price and was told that it costs £39.
After the assessment David confirmed that lenses I wear good for me and he wouldn’t recommend to change.
I asked if they can order lenses for me know and they say yes. Price offered for lenses was much higher than the price I usually pay - around 50% more expensive. It was disappointing, but I paid.
Couple of hours ago, at home I checked my lenses availability online and realised, that online order costs much less than order in Malting Eyecare - almost 50% cheaper. I ordered my lenses online.
I called to Malting Eyecare and asked to cancel my order. They said that it is possible and I can come back to cancel transaction.
BUT! When I came back, I was told, that they will give me back £21 less, because optometrist visit without ordering lenses costs £60 instead of £39 I paid.
Nobody made me aware about it!
I perceive it as a lie to client!
They stole my £21!
I strongly NOT RECOMMEND this place!
