CHURCHAM HOMES LIMITED - STAVERTON, GL

We bought a new home for the first time almost a year ago from previous company GMT developments who have changed name to Churcham Homes. It is a small development of 6 so called executive 4 bedroom homes. We had never bought a new build before but I did expect a few snagging issues. However almost a year living at the property and there are still a number of outstanding issues that where reported on moving in that have yet to be addressed and a major problem has developed with the kitchen dinning/ room floor where the tiling has failed because the screed was not allowed to dry properly. The issues have been endless and I will not waste time listing these, water leaks, electrical faults, faulty or poorly fitted items. All that could have been avoided with a little more care an attention and a better standard of subcontractor and final checking by Churcham Homes. Similar problems have been reported in the other 5 properties. Generally I get the feeling it was all done on the cheap! The most annoying thing is that the after sales service from Churcham Homes is appalling they fail to respond to anything, letters etc. and at no point have they ever given us any form of apology. Unfortunately I am seriously regretting buying this property, it is was not cheap, in excess of 500,000. I would not recommend this experience of buying a new build property by Churcham Homes.
