Had a new aerial fitted in July and due to bird mess on my roof I wanted bird spikes fitted to deter the roosting pigeons. Within a week of fitting the aerial the electrical tape they had used to secure the bird spikes to the aerial was unravelling - see attached files. Asked the company to come back and secure the bird spikes more securely before they fall off but I was told if I wanted them to get on roof to work on the aerial they would only remove the bird spikes because they "could not guarantee they would stay on". A pity this (if true) was not made clear when they quoted and carried out the installation (which was "guaranteed" ??). I have researched the use of these bird spikes and how they should be properly secured to the aerial (with PU adhesive and zip ties) so I was not happy with the unhelpful attitude and excuses given not to do the remedial work. They clearly did not want to do anything and I will not be using again. The "warranty" is worthless so beware.
