Called him to open a rusty screw for me which he did then I asked him to complete the job and fit a toilet valve , he said that I have to buy the whole unit as it will be cheaper and easier to fix which I did, the following day he came at 10:00am and finished the job at 15:00 pm , so it took him 5 hours plus an hour the previous day to replace a toilet !!!!!! During which I felt that he was taking his time, I had to give him my own tools so that he won't go on trip to get his from the van which it will take 5 min each time, in one occasion I come home and he was not there , but his van was .I even was helping him almost like his apprenti, when he finished the fitting he wanted to leave without using the sealant or putting back the panel that hides the pipes , I had to convince him to finish it .I ended up with 300£ bill and a really bad finished job .and he give me a Rip off discount ( so called brother discount ) of 60 £ so the final bill was 240£. I called a friend plumber and he said that was a Rip off. one thing also that his eye sight is not great and he was working with only one lens on his glasses.
please avoid he is very slow , and In my opinion inexperienced and very very expensive.
